Electricity consumption contributes 98% toward the total carbon footprint of FPT. Energy audits have been performed at the various FPT facilities.
The purpose of these energy audits were to obtain enough information on electrical power consumption at the FPT facilities to be able to split the carbon footprint into selected service groups and to benchmark electricity consumption.
The energy audit and the benchmarking of results have identified the potential areas for improvement in the facilities.
This will enable FPT to set responsible improvement targets.
